Patrick Hazari is the Senior Director of Planning, Design & Construction at Friends of the High Line. Over his 16-year tenure, he has played a critical role in defining and leading the advocacy, planning, design, construction, and operations of the High Line. Professionally, Hazari has practiced with Weiss/Manfredi and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design. Patrick is a licensed architect in the state of New York.
Hazari’s work has been published in Decoration: 306090, Volume 10 (Princeton Architectural Press), and he has been an invited critic at the University of Tennessee, PennDesign, Georgia Tech, and Roger Williams University. Hazari was a long-term member of the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design Dean’s Advocacy Board.
