Sakshi Gupta (b. 1979, New Delhi, India) lives and works in Mumbai, India.
Witness reimagines the fountain as a structure of flowing metal. Fabricated from reclaimed and industrial metals, including materials that reference the High Line’s former rail use, the sculpture carries traces of prior histories of movement and transformation. Witness transforms a familiar civic structure into an evolving system, inviting viewers to consider interdependence, perception, and shared presence.
