Allison Sarofim

Allison Sarofim is a filmmaker and philanthropist.

She is a founding board member of Ballroom Marfa and the recipient of the inaugural Off the Grid Award in 2024. Alongside Ballroom Marfa co-founders Fairfax Dorn and Virginia Lebermann and Chief Creative Officer Vance Knowles, Allison is converting a former bull auction barn into a state-of-the-art performance space aptly named the BULLROOM. The project will expand the Ballroom’s history of engaging artists in all their creative endeavors—music, film, theater, and dance.

Allison is the chair of the Friends of the CFDA, a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Chairman’s Council, and a member of Friends of the Costume Institute. She produced the acclaimed documentary, Tell Them Anything You Want: A Portrait of Maurice Sendak, and is currently working on a new film project. Allison is known for her legendary Halloween parties, the subject of her forthcoming book. She is a native Texan who graduated from Rice University and is the founder of Loulu Hawai’i, an innovative skincare and wellness brand based in Honolulu, which recently won an Oprah Beauty award.

Allison lives with her husband, Patrick Seabase, and their two dogs.
