How to include Friends of the High Line in your legacy plans:

There are many ways to include Friends of the High Line in your legacy plans. Two of the most common are listed below:

A) Will or Trust
Legal Name: Friends of the High Line
Address: 820 Washington Street, New York, NY 10014
Federal tax ID #: 31-1734086

“I give to Friends of the High Line, a not-for-profit institution incorporated by the laws of the State of New York, having as its principal address of 820 Washington Street, New York, NY, 10014, federal tax identification number (EIN): 31-1734086 [the sum of $______ or _____% of my estate or residuary estate] to be used for its general purposes.”

B) Beneficiary Designation for your IRA or various retirement accounts

To include Friends of the High Line as a beneficiary of your retirement, IRA or life insurance policy follow these three easy steps:

1) Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank, or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form. Decide what percentage (1 to 100) you would like us to receive and name us, along with the percentage you chose, on the beneficiary form. Include Friends of the High Line federal tax ID # 31-1734086.

2) Return the completed form to your plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution.

3) Notify us at legacy@thehighline.org or via the below form so we can include you as a member of the High Line’s Legacy Society.
